For 2010, the RMAGA will play six tournaments five of them on Mondays, and one on a Friday afternoon at private country clubs, a military course and some high-end golf public courses in the area. With your membership, you will receive a GHIN handicap with all event scores entered as tournament scores.
Men and women are welcome to play our events. We play in flighted groups and the flight ranges depend on how many players in the tournament and what their individual handicaps happens to be. Guests with handicaps will be in a guest flight for prizes and those guests without a handicap will also be in the guest flight, however they will be playing as a scratch golfer for flight prizes.
We NEVER play scrambles. Each tournament brings a different format into play including individual flights and two person best-ball.
Deadline for entries will be 10 days before the tournament date. For 2010, we have negotiated 40 player minimums. You will not be able to just show up at a tournament and play. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR TOURNAMENT REQUEST IN BY THE DEADLINE DATE, OR YOU WILL NOT PLAY THAT TOURNAMENT. All tournament requests are to be emailed to info@rmaga.com.
If we go over our 40 players for a tournament, you will be notified by phone or email that you are on a wait list and will be called if we can fit you in the tournament. Please plan ahead and reserve your spots early.
This year we can ONLY TAKE PayPal payments. You can use your checking account, debit or credit card for payment of membership dues and tournaments.
Members from 2009 that recruit a new member for 2010 will receive a $10.00 New Member Bonus for each new member they sign up. You must have the new member include your name on their email membership request. This Bonus can be used for any tournament. There is no limit on the New Member Bonus program.
